The CheMatSustain Project hosted its first General Assembly Meeting on the 21st July 2024 in Limassol, Cyprus as part of Materials Week 2024.
Delegates from 10 EU project partners, along with our associate partner from the United Kingdom, met at Materials Week in Limassol, Cyprus, to discuss the current status of the CheMatSustain project. The Materials Week 2024 was not only the perfect venue to network with other sister projects, initiatives, and professionals in the nanomaterial field but also served as the site for our 1st General Assembly meeting.
During the assembly, we had the opportunity to take a bird’s-eye view of our project’s progress and identify any upcoming challenges. We delved deeper into the data flow, ensuring that each task receives the necessary data in the correct format. This step is vital because efficient data flow is essential to the success of the project, ensuring that all interconnected tasks run smoothly. We also reviewed all eight work packages, by discussing their current status, and aligning strategies.
The interdisciplinary composition of our team, ranging from life sciences to social sciences, has been instrumental in shaping the future steps required to achieve our project objectives. We leave Cyprus and the Materials Week 2024 inspired and full of new ideas, eagerly anticipating the next stages of our project journey.
We extend our thanks to all the sister projects we had the pleasure of connecting with during Materials Week 2024, the organizers, and to our project partners for making this 1st General Assembly meeting a real success.
