Expertise: I am an Associate Professor in polymeric materials and senior researcher at IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute, my focus spans waste management, circular economy, chemicals in products and waste, and safe and sustainable materials design. I lead EU projects developing novel materials and coordinate the IRISS project, accelerating the transition to safe and sustainable materials.

Expertise: I have a Ph.D. in fibre and polymer science, I specialize in designing and processing polymer (nano)materials, particularly utilizing biobased resources. At IVL, my research centres on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) applied to chemicals, with a focus on (eco)toxicity indicators, and developing a framework for safe and sustainable by design (SSbD) chemicals and materials.
