CheMatSustain at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences KINDER-UNI
November 19 All day
This year, CheMatSustain will contribute to the KINDER-UNI, an initiative from the HAW Hamburg. Through engaging lectures and hands-on experiments, the initiative aims to bring science closer to schoolchildren. Once a year, researchers from the university explain in a simple and fascinating way how things in nature, technology, and everyday life work.
In the session hosted by CheMatSustain, students will explore the world of nanomaterials and discover how materials can behave differently when they become extremely small. Through interactive discussions and hands-on investigation, students will learn how scientists study the relationship between size, surface area, and material behavior, and why nanomaterials are important in technology, medicine, and environmental research.
